If you liked the origional Cars movie made by Pixar annimation back in 2006 you will love their newest animation hit Cars 2.
Lightning McQueen has been in Radiator Springs 4 years and each time he comes home he is excited to be with his best friend Mater.
Mater is the star of Cars 2 as he gets mixed up with a spy named Finn McMissile who is like the 007 of cars with more gagets on him then a swiss army knife.
Mater has to find out who is sabotaging the race cars who are racing in "the World Grand Prix" and save Lighting McQueen.
In the end Mater realizes how important appearences can be and Lightening learns that its not right to change who your best friend is.
My family and I enjoy Pixar movies, there is no majic, no innuindos, no fowl language. Pixar makes true family friendly films.

Review: The Rose Trilogy
The Rose Trilogy written by Christian Fiction Author Beverly Lewis follows Amish sisters Rose and Hannah (Hen) as they learn to give up themselves in order to let God have his perfect will in their lives.
Hen is in a struggling marriage with an "Englisher" having turned her back on her Amish roots as a young lady and Rose has to say goodbye to her best friend as he leaves the protection of the community to search for his birth mother in the "world"
I am happy to report that both women after a lot of pain and growing make happy endings. If you want to know more about Rose and Hen you will just have to read this amazing series. This series was a tear jerker in a few areas, be sure to have some klennex on hand. It was an easy read. I was distracted several times but each time I cam back to the book it was like I never put it down.

Review: The Kent Family Chronicles
The Kent Family Chronicals was written my Historical Fiction auther John Jakes as a Bicentienal memoir of Americas growth during her first 200 years. The first book "The Bastard" was written in 1974 and the last book "The Americans" in 1979.
The series follows the Kent family starting with the founder who was an immigrant from France Phillip Kent who immigrates just before the beginning of the Revolution in 1770 and ends with the death of Gideon Kent just before the beginning of the 20th century.
As in any series of this length (8 books) there are bound to be some dull spots but these moments are crucial to the plot line and are full of historical facts and figures.
There is action, romance, terror, and fun in each book.
Mr. Jakes did a marvellous job of portraying real American history through this fictional family.
Fowl language, yes, there is quite a bit.
Sexual scenes, yes
Violence, quite a bit as there are a number of wars of various kinds from big wars like the Revolution and Civil Wars to the smaller ones as the Trade Union battles and Suffragette movement.

Wings of Glory is a series written by Sarah Sundin. The series follows the Novak family during WW2.
Each Novak brother learns an important lesson and in the end finds true love.
You can read each book individually or as a series one after the other starting with "A Distant Melody" These books are extreamly well researched and puts you in the cockpit of the flying fortresses bombing over Germany in the action chapters and also puts you so comfortibly in mama Novaks living room that you can even hear one of her soldier boys playing the piano in the home chapters. Definetly not a dull read.
